This privately owned zoo features over 450 animals living on a wildlife preserve of 64

Sea Turtle Preservation Season
96 Percent of Eggs Will Hatch With Help of Region’s Release Program
May through September each year, thousands of sea turtles arrive on our beaches to lay their eggs. Each night beachfront resort staff gather sea turtle eggs to transport for incubation to a safer location By early November (approx. 40-70 days later), the hatchlings emerge to be released on the beach with the aid of the resorts' staff & guests at the hotels.
